The City of Bingen is seeking sealed bids on the following surplus items.
1969 Ford F800 Fire Engine, VIN #F80FUE16072
Built by Western States Fire Apparatus in Corenlius, Oregon. Has a 391 cubic inch gas motor with a 5-speed manual transmission, Rear wheel drive with dual wheels on rear. Line lock parking brake. Tank holds 750 gallons of water. Front mount PTO drive Barton-American pump rated at 750 gpm at 2250 rpm. Has 2 hose reels and 3 sections of draft hose.
Minimum bid price: $1,000.00
All items are sold “as is” and “where is” with all faults. The City makes no warranty, express or implied with respect to the condition of the goods. The City specifically disclaims any and all UCC warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. All firefighting equipment does not meet current fire standards and cannot be used for firefighting purposes.
No mechanic work of any kind may take place on city property.
All property must be paid for and removed within 5 days after notification of winning bid.
Items can be viewed by appointment by calling 509-493-2122. Sealed bids will be accepted until 3:00 p.m., September 5, must be received at the City of Bingen by 3:00 p.m., September 5th. Postmarks of September 5th will not be accepted.
Bids will be accepted on one, some or all items. Bids are awarded to the highest responsible bidder. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and to waive any irregularities.
