Public Comment Guidelines
Public comment for each individual, organization and/or agency will generally be limited to 5 minutes.
Requests made during public comment will not be acted on by the city council until the request is scheduled for a subsequent regularly scheduled council meeting. (However instead of making public comment at a regularly scheduled council meeting, an individual, organization or agency may ask that their request be scheduled as an agenda item.)
City council members may ask questions of the individual, organization and/or agency making public comment.
City council members may ask questions of staff related to the issue addressed in public comment.
