Dog Licenses

All dogs residing in Bingen must be licensed. Proof of rabies is required.

Lost Dogs

If you have lost a dog contact City Hall at 509-493-2122, Bingen-White Salmon Police Department 509-493-1177 or Alpine Vet 509-493-3908. If we have found a dog we will post it on the home page of this website.

Annual Fees (renewable each January)

Dogs that are spayed or neutered (proof is required): $10.00 per dog per year

Dog that are not spayed or neutered: $25.00 per dog per year

 

Dogs must be on a leash when off the property of the dog owner.

Cats

Cats do not require licenses. The State of Washington requires that cats obtain rabies vaccinations.

 

Other Animals - Licenses

The City of Bingn allows the following animals as pets within the City of Bingen provided that an annual permit is obtained from the City. The annual fee is $10.00.

 

            Miniature pot-bellied pigs

            Rabbits

            Pigeons

            Ducks

 

Animal License Application

 

Animals are not allowed to be kept for the purpose of sale or profit unless the animals are kept or sold in a commercial establishment which will require permitting.

 

No more than three total of the animals listed above (not including dogs or cats) may be kept in or on the premises of any dwelling unit.
